BB5 Week 10 recap - "I would love to start me a dude ranch"
The first part of the HoH challenge is to hold onto your key and fend off earthquakes shaking the platform. Cowboy feels in his element as a bull rider, but ends up eliminated first when he slips up fixing Diane's hair. Drew plans to throw the challenge, but Diane falls off first, giving Drew the win.
The second part of the HoH challenge is to place the houseguests' faces on a DNA strand in the correct order. Cowboy loses a lot of time on the first question, but makes it back when Diane gets stuck on the "morphed twin" question. Cowboy wins and makes it to the final round, upsetting Diane.
The third part of the HoH challenge is to guess statements made by the jury. Drew wins, forcing him to choose between his girlfriend and his fellow horseman. Telling her he doesn't think he could beat her in a final 2, Drew shocks Diane by evicting her from the house.
Cowboy and Drew face the jury. Drew says he made more strategic moves than Cowboy, whereas Cowboy says his strategy was to be himself. Drew is asked if his feelings for Diane were genuine. Cowboy has to defend himself from Marvin's accusation of racism.
By a vote of 4-3, Drew wins Big Brother 5.

BB5 Week 9 recap - "It looks like there's five pieces of roadkill"
The HoH competition is to recall the house's missing items, and Nakomis wins. Karen regrets that she didn't win, as their alliance has slated Cowboy to go next and they know it will be tough for Nakomis to nominate her brother.
Diane starts getting worried that Karen and Nakomis are tight so brings Cowboy into their alliance to give them the numbers. When Drew and Cowboy are nominated, the plan is for Diane to win the veto, save one of them and vote Karen out.
The PoV competition is to escape from a cage by using everyday items to retrieve a key. Diane, Drew and Cowboy team up and share their putters. Tying the three putters together, Diane is able to hook her key and win the PoV.
Nakomis and Karen still don't suspect what's really going on until the veto meeting, where Diane uses the PoV to save Drew and forces Karen onto the block. Diane still assures Karen she is staying, but Karen no longer trusts her.
By a 2-0 vote, Karen is evicted from the house.
Drew is the new HoH after winning the before or after game. Cowboy is mad because he was hoping Drew would let him win, but Drew didn't want to take any chances. Drew wants Nakomis out and Diane doesn't mind going on the block to avoid breaking her promise to Nakomis, so he puts both the girls on the block.
The last PoV competition is to use cord to connect pictures of the previous veto winners. Bizarrely, Drew and Diane both forget the week that he used the veto to save her. Cowboy wins his first competition after completing it in 2 minutes.
Nakomis tries to convince Cowboy she's the only one that would take him to the end, but he knows she tried to get him out. Feeling she's no longer in control, Nakomis melts down. Diane however feels she's trying to manipulate Cowboy with her emotions and promises him a final 2 to get him back on board.
Cowboy decides to use the veto on Diane, evicting Nakomis from the house.

BB5 Week 8 recap - "A relationship on steroids"
Marvin beats Cowboy in the final round of a putting competition to become the new HoH. Finally having to show his cards a bit, Marvin's first act is to make a deal with Diane, as he sees her as a powerful player. Diane's dream nominees come true when Marvin puts Adria and Cowboy up for eviction. Cowboy knows he has been nominated for being close with Adria.
The PoV competition is to melt a block of ice with a water pistol. Adria goes for the key to the toolbox instead of the PoV, but is beaten to the punch by Karen whose small hands are able to retrieve her veto first and win her first competition.
Adria wants Karen to use the veto, but since she doesn't want one of her allies to go up as a replacement, Karen leaves the nominations as they are. Drew is the only one not ostracizing Adria, and is actually considering keeping her.
Marvin wants to try and break up Drew and Diane, and does so by kissing Diane, hoping to cause some jealousy. Cowboy sees it and tells Drew, who tells Diane that his trust in her has been shaken. Diane blames Marvin and now wants him out next.
By a vote of 4-0, Adria is evicted from the house, and has a lot to say before departing.
The second HoH challenge of the week involves answering questions by pouring liquid in beakers. Drew wins and is the new HoH. With only a few hours to make nominations, Drew decides to target Marvin, who was trying to get him on the block last week. He puts Marvin up with his closest ally, who is also his showmance partner, Diane.
The PoV competition is to bounce a ball into six different targets in the fastest time. Diane beats Drew to win the veto. She uses it to take herself off the block, meaning Drew has to nominate Nakomis. As a result, Karen loses some trust in Diane, since she had previously claimed she was not going to use it.
By a vote of 3-0, Marvin is evicted from the house.

BB5 Week 7 recap - "I'm turning into the black David Copperfield"
Nakomis beats Diane in the "who said it?" competition to become HoH for the second time, and is coming after Adria for breaking their pinky swear. Natalie goes to Nakomis to clear up why she voted Will out and now she's considering sparing Adria's sister in favour of Marvin or Cowboy.
Nakomis nominates Natalie and Adria for eviction. Natalie is annoyed at being nominated because she never made a pinky swear. Adria looks for someone who will use the veto on her and picks Drew after he promises to use it. But Drew is scared that if he uses the veto, Cowboy will go up.
The PoV competition is to identify which houseguests have been used in the morphed photos - a challenge that freaks out Nakomis. Cowboy struggles, but the twins both put in a great time, with Adria coming out on top. Adria considers saving her sister, but Natalie talks her out of it.
When Adria uses the PoV on herself, Nakomis puts her brother on the block. Cowboy is upset that Nakomis broke her promise, but she assures him that he's safe. However, Drew thinks keeping the twins intact will keep the target on them and give him a strong alliance of 4.
By a vote of 4-1, Natalie is evicted from the house.

BB5 Week 6 recap - "If karma is a boomerang, I will see you sooner than later"
The HoH challenge is to bounce a puck into a blue section. Adria wins and is the new HoH. Diane notices that Will, Karen and Nakomis don't seem too happy about it, which she finds interesting. Adria asks Karen who she thinks should go up, but Karen doesn't want to make herself a target. Adria considers nominating Karen, but thinks it would cause her to freak out.
Adria nominates Will and Marvin for eviction, and neither nominees appreciate her sappy speech. Nakomis doesn't like that Adria didn't tell anyone Will was going up, and tries to get answers. Marvin tells her that she made a mistake because he doesn't have any alliances in the house and also points out that he stood up for her against Jase.
The houseguests compete in a Christmas-themed PoV where they have to pick presents from under a tree and have to get the gift with the highest value. Adria wins the veto and now is considering using it on one of her nominees to hopefully gain an ally.
Adria tries to get Marvin to make a deal with her, but he's unreceptive. The rest of the house also get annoyed with Adria when she makes a melodramatic speech. Since neither of them made an effort to get her to do otherwise, Adria decides not to use the PoV.
Adria is encouraging the houseguests to make it a tie, and Diane is fine with this as it takes the pressure off her. However, seeing the twins scheming with Marvin starts to make Diane paranoid, and she begins to rethink her alliance with them.
After a 3-3 tie, Adria casts the deciding vote...and evicts Will from the house, making him the first member of the jury.

BB5 Week 5 recap - "Fitness twins powers, activate!"
Right before the houseguests get to the next HoH competition, Julie gives them the news that one of them has been playing the game with their twin, who will now get to play the game for themselves. Adria's twin Natalie enters the house...which is a nightmare scenario for Jase, as he had just cussed Adria out for evicting Scott.
Nakomis is the new HoH after winning the observation challenge, meaning Cowboy gets to see a picture of his real father for the first time. Jase feels discouraged that not only has he lost an ally, but the other side have gained one. His response is to walk around the house wearing a sign asking for an alliance. Drew realizes that the Horsemen are now dead, and throws his lot in with Diane.
Nakomis comes up with a "six finger plan" to place two decoy nominees on the block to avoid giving Jase a chance to save himself with the veto. Jase is stunned when Nakomis pulls his key first at the nomination ceremony and ends up nominating Marvin and Diane. Jase celebrates ecstatically at getting a reprieve, not realizing he is still the target.
Jase eventually figures out that the plan is to get him out, and desperately asks Marvin to pick him. But when he doesn't, Jase's only hope left is Drew. The PoV competition is to throw darts at a balloon board, gradually uncovering the houseguest's faces until the last one left is the winner. Everyone lets Drew win the PoV since it doesn't really matter who gets it.
Drew convinces Jase and Cowboy that he's not going to use the veto. But at the veto meeting, Drew takes Diane off the block and Jase goes up in his place, completing Nakomis' plan.
Jase is pissed at being betrayed for a girl, and ends up fighting with both Drew and Diane once again. With only one ally left, Jase tries reverse psychology on Will and Karen to try and get them to keep him.
By a vote of 6-1, Jase is evicted from the house

BB5 Week 4 recap - "That's like Karen porn"
The HoH competition is a test of endurance, requiring everyone to hold onto a button. After 4 hours, Diane proposes letting Cowboy win but Marvin isn't on board. When Cowboy drops out next, he cries as she feels he has let his team down. Diane gets Scott disqualified for touching his board, gaining his disdain even further. Jase and Diane are the last two standing, and a mistake from Jase after 9 hours leaves Diane as the new HoH.
Diane targets the boys for eviction, with Jase being the one she wants out the most. Jase is hoping Diane has gained more respect for him after the challenge, and pitches his case to stay off the block. It's not enough, and Diane nominates Jase and Scott for eviction.
Scott has a meeting with Diane where she tells him that she needs him to win the veto and ensure Jase's eviction. Scott hasn't given up on trying to get Marvin out though, but needs Drew's help to convince her.
The PoV competition is to distribute coins into the piggy banks of their opponent and the person who gets the closest to 20 without going over wins. Will targets Jase, whereas Jase and Scott target Diane. Drew and Cowboy spread theirs more evenly. Jase wins the veto with 18 chips after Diane goes over.
Jase and Scott want to make a deal with Diane (which they don't intend to keep) that they won't put her up if she takes Marvin out. But when Diane finds the spy screen in the HoH room that no-one told her about, she realizes she can't trust the boys. Will tries to run damage control with Jase and makes a deal so that he doesn't target him.
Debating on who should be the replacement nominee, Karen tries to dissuade Diane from putting up Marvin as she knows that's exactly what Jase wants. Jase puts on a show at the veto meeting and takes himself off the block, with Marvin going up in his place. But that doesn't mean the girls intend to evict him.
Scott talks to Adria and tries to convince her that since he was the one who saved her last week, she owes him. Will and Diane are now worried that they have lost her vote.
By a vote of 4-3, Scott is evicted from the house.

BB5 Week 3 recap - "Get the lifesavers, because this is totally legit"
The HoH competition is to step higher or lower to questions. Drew wins, and the Horsemen celebrate being in power again. Marvin tells Drew to float the rumour that he might be going up to throw the women off, but this just makes Drew and Scott see him as a schemer.
Top of the Four Horsemen's target list are Adria and Diane. But Holly is causing friction too, as the other guys are jealous that Jase is getting all her attention. Cowboy gets annoyed when Marvin accuses him of being rich, which just makes Marvin's target bigger.
Diane talks to Drew and tries to convince him to get Holly out. With so many names thrown out even by his own allies, Drew isn't sure what to do. Wanting to make his own decision, Drew nominates Holly and Nakomis for eviction, surprising Scott and Jase.
Jase has to comfort a sobbing Holly, who thinks Diane was behind her nomination. Drew tries to convince Jase that Holly needs to go for the good of the group...but Jase and Scott are furious that they might be losing an ally. Drew cries when he realizes he made the wrong decision.
Scott tries to convince Nakomis to pick Cowboy for the veto, telling her they want the veto to be used to get Marvin out. Nakomis sees through it however, and picks Adria. Holly picks Jase and Drew picks Scott, meaning the other three Horsemen are all playing. Expecting something food-related, Jase throws up to improve his odds.
The PoV competition is for the houseguests to sit at a poker table and try to bluff their opponents. It comes down to Scott and Nakomis, and Nakomis wins. The plan is for Drew to put Adria up in Nakomis' place and get her out. To do that, Jase needs Marvin to tie the vote so that Drew can break it in their favour. Therefore, the Horsemen form a fake alliance with Marvin called the Santa Monica van boys.
Holly asks Diane why she didn't get a hug after the veto, and Diane responds by openly revealing the sides of the house. Holly is mad that Diane was lying to her, whereas Jase tells Diane's allies that she just exposed them. Diane is upset, not just by her mistake, but that Drew didn't defend her.
Nakomis uses the veto on herself and Drew nominates Adria in her place. Karen and Will think they can flip Marvin if they wait til the last minute. They might not even need it, as Scott comes up with a plan to keep Adria and convince her to come to their side. But Jase is not on board with the plan, as he doesn't believe that Adria would stick to the deal.
Scott is annoyed that Jase is spending all his time with Holly, and the boys even catch them making out. Realizing that Jase's motives for keeping Holly are self-serving, Marvin considers changing his vote.
By a vote of 7-1, Holly is evicted from the house, but gives Jase some mementos before she leaves.

BB5 Week 2 recap - "Operation security blanket"
Marvin wins the majority rules challenge to become the new HoH. Jase is happy as he thinks he's bonded with Marvin. The Horsemen want Diane out for being a shit-stirrer, but Cowboy and Scott are starting to become wary of Jase's growing flirtation with Holly.
The food challenge is to use a slingshot to fire chickens into baskets. The challenge is going well but then Will hits a bad egg basket that loses them all the food they have won so far. They manage to win back some of it, but fall short of reclaiming the beer. Will feels bad about it but Jase and Scott make him feel worse by constantly making comments about it - making his hatred for them grow.
Diane tries to turn Holly against Jase by telling her he has said he was playing her. This causes a rift between them, but then Jase also pisses off Lori when he mistakenly blames her for starting the rumour.
Marvin nominates Lori and Holly for eviction. Diane and the rest of Lori's allies are intending to vote out Holly, which is bad news for the Horsemen. Jase tells Cowboy to try and get Nakomis to their side but Nakomis is fed up with them keeping her in the dark. Will is telling the boys that everyone is voting for Lori to lull them into a false sense of security.
Diane becomes annoyed with Scott when he calls her "trailer trash". Lori isn't enjoying herself either, and wants to quit. Will and Karen can't afford to lose her and try to talk her out of it. Lori picks Karen to play in PoV expecting her to keep it the same, but she has other plans.
The PoV competition is to untangle ropes. Jase figures out the fastest way to do it and wins PoV. Karen is annoyed as she knows Jase will take Holly off.
Marvin considers Karen as a replacement nominee, to take a vote away from Lori. But Holly tells Jase not to use the PoV in order to avoid making an enemy, as she thinks she can stay. Karen tries to talk Jase into not using the veto also, but Jase only humours her. Jase uses the veto on Holly, and Karen goes up in her place.
Jase wants Marvin gone, and Diane tells him this in the hopes he'll join their side. Karen is worried that she might go home, since Lori is going back and forth on whether she wants out or not.
By a vote of 7-2, Lori is evicted from the house.

BB5 Week 1 recap - "Science project gone bad"
13 houseguests enter the house and unbeknownst to them, two of them are related. The first food competition is to crawl over a DNA spiral and retrieve balls. Lori wins the ball that offers her the option of claiming $10,000 to put the house on peanut butter and jelly. She accepts the offer, putting a big target on her back.
Cowboy, Scott, Drew and Jase make an alliance called the Four Horsemen, adding Diane as their fifth. Will however has aligned with Lori and Karen, with the intent of taking out the alpha males.
The HoH competition involves teams of two, where one partner runs on a treadmill and the other answers questions about the other houseguests. The treadmill speeds up if they answer incorrectly. Cowboy, Karen and Scott are the only ones left on their treadmills after all questions. Scott wins the challenge, but Jase claims the title of HoH after getting the deciding question right.
Cowboy has figured out that Nakomis is his half-sister after she tells him about her father losing a foot in the war. He decides to keep this information a secret at first, only telling his allies. Jase convinces him to tell Nakomis, who doesn't really know whether to believe it until she gets a letter from her dad in the diary room confirming it.
The men all dress up in women's underwear for the first luxury competition, with the exception of Mike. The contestants have to work together to make a giant Margerita in order to unlock the hot tub. Will fills up the glass, and Cowboy jumps in wearing a lime suit to retrieve the key.
Mike tries to put together his own alliance with Drew and Diane. After hearing this, Jase puts Mike on the block alongside Nakomis. Mike responds by calling out Jase and Scott for being in an alliance of their own. Cowboy isn't sure how much he should protect his sister.
The nominees and HoH pick the players they want to play in the PoV competition. Mike picks Holly, thinking she's the easiest to beat. The competition is to throw rings onto flamingos better than your opponents. Jase takes on Mike and eliminates him. Nakomis lets Scott win their matchup after he tells her to throw it. Jase lets Scott win in the final matchup, making him the PoV holder.
Diane and Adria try to form a women's alliance to take out the strong guys, getting Nakomis and Lori on board. They talk to Will too, but he's not comfortable with the girls so sells them out to Drew. The Horsemen are now considering taking Mike off to put up Adria. But in the end, Scott decides Mike is too much of a threat to leave in the game.
By a vote of 10-0, Mike is evicted from the house.
